Greet a new visitor before they type a single word
Configure up to four tappable conversation-starter questions and a five-item persistent menu for your Instagram account, and Admino pushes both straight to Instagram's Messenger platform — no separate Meta Business dashboard step.
The first thing a visitor sees, configured from Admino
Up to four ice breakers
Set up to four short questions, each 1–80 characters, that Instagram shows as tappable conversation starters to anyone opening a DM thread with your account for the first time.
Each starter triggers real saved replies
Every ice breaker points at 1 to 10 messages from your reply message library, so tapping a starter sends the exact saved reply, button, or media you already built — nothing improvised.
A persistent menu, always in reach
Set up to five menu items that stay pinned in the message composer for every conversation, giving visitors a shortcut menu that doesn't disappear once the chat moves on.
Two button types, nothing more
Each persistent menu item is either a message-reply button that sends a saved reply, or a web-link button that opens a URL — the two types Instagram's Messenger platform supports for this menu.
Sent straight to your Instagram account
Ice breakers and the persistent menu are account-scoped configuration pushed directly to Instagram's Graph API for the connected account — never mixed across accounts or workspaces.
Ice breakers and the persistent menu, explained
What exactly is an ice breaker?
One of up to four short questions (1–80 characters) that Instagram shows a new visitor before they've sent your account a first message — tapping one instantly sends the reply messages you've linked to it.
How many replies can a single ice breaker send?
Between 1 and 10 saved reply messages, referenced directly from your reply message library — the same validated references used everywhere else in Admino.
What is the persistent menu?
A menu of up to five items that stays available in the message composer for every conversation with your account, so visitors always have a consistent shortcut menu instead of scrolling back through chat history.
What kinds of buttons can I put in the persistent menu?
Two types only: a message-reply button that sends a saved reply, or a web-link button that opens a URL — matching what Instagram's Messenger platform supports for persistent menus today.
What happens if I reference a reply message that no longer exists?
Admino checks that every reply message ID you reference in an ice breaker actually exists in your saved library before saving the configuration, so a deleted or invalid reference is never sent to Instagram.
Can I set different ice breakers or menus per language?
Not yet — configuration is currently saved under a single default locale rather than separate per-language variants.
Do I need to configure any of this separately in Meta's own tools?
No — ice breakers and the persistent menu are configured directly in Admino and sent straight to Instagram's Graph API for your connected account, without a separate Meta Business dashboard step.
