How is a comment reply different from a DM auto-reply?
Both use the same rule engine, but comments have one extra option: you can send a private DM reply and post a random public reply under that same comment.
Is the public reply always the same?
Not necessarily. If you define more than one public reply, Admino randomly picks one each time, so replies under a heavily-commented post don't look repetitive.
What happens if someone hasn't followed the page yet?
If a reply is marked follow-required, a follow-prompt template is sent instead of the real content; once the user confirms, the actual reply is sent.
Do the page's own comments get auto-replied to?
No. Admino ignores comments posted by the account's own Instagram username.

Why did only one of my messages reach the commenter?
That is Instagram's limit, not Admino's: a comment accepts exactly one private reply. The rest are not discarded — they are held and sent the moment the person replies in DMs.
What if the commenter never replies?
The remaining messages are held for seven days and then dropped. Seven days is the window Instagram allows a private reply to a comment at all.
What if they comment on several posts?
The most recent answer replaces the earlier one. Someone who comments on three posts before replying receives one set of messages, matching their latest comment, not three sets at once.
How long can one message be?
Instagram's ceiling is a thousand characters per text message. Consecutive short messages are combined up to that limit and whatever will not fit moves to the next one — you do not have to count.
Can I run an automation on just one post?
Yes. A comment automation can be limited to specific posts, so a campaign on one post gets its own rule and every other post stays untouched.
