Switching On Comment Replies in Admino: A Setup Walkthrough

Comment automation means that when someone writes a word such as "price" under your post, they get an answer without anyone watching the phone: a private DM, a short public reply under the comment, or both. This guide walks through switching it on in Admino. Admino only replies to comments other people leave under your own posts; it never comments on other accounts and never asks for your password.

Before you start

1. A professional account. Instagram allows automated replies only on Business or Creator accounts.
2. Access to messages. In the Instagram app: Settings and activity → Messages and story replies → Message requests → Connected tools, then turn on Allow access to messages.
3. A plan or the trial. Every new user gets 30 days of every feature after verifying a mobile number, once per number and once per Instagram page.

Build the comment rule

• Trigger: comments, with the keywords customers actually type. Choose "anywhere in the comment" or "exactly this word".
• Posts: all posts, or chosen posts only. A rule on chosen posts does not pick up posts you publish later.
• Reply: DM only (the default), a public reply only, or both. Several public replies are rotated at random.
• Audience: everyone, followers only (with an "I followed" button), or only people who do not follow yet.
• Turn on "once per person" for introductions and offers.

Instagram allows one private reply per comment. Admino joins short consecutive text messages so they arrive together and holds the rest until the person replies in the DM.

Switch it on and test it

Test from a different account: comments posted by the page itself never get an automatic reply, and comments made before the rule existed are not answered. If Instagram fails to deliver a comment, Admino re-reads the covered posts and answers the missed comment without answering anyone twice.
